By accessing and using the Africa Nutrition Conference (ANC) platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

2. Use of the Platform

The ANC platform is provided for the purpose of:

  • Submitting and managing conference abstracts
  • Registering for the Africa Nutrition Conference
  • Booking accommodation for the conference
  • Accessing conference-related information and resources

You agree to use the platform only for its intended purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws.

3. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account on the platform, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Abstract Submissions

By submitting an abstract through the platform:

  • You confirm that the work is original and has not been published elsewhere
  • You confirm that all co-authors have approved the submission
  • You grant ANC the right to publish accepted abstracts in the African Journal of Nutrition (AJN)
  • You acknowledge that no alterations are permitted after the submission deadline
  • You understand that the Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any abstract

5. Registration and Payments

  • All registration fees are processed securely through Paystack
  • Fees are quoted in Ghana Cedis (GHS) unless otherwise stated
  • Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment verification
  • Refund requests are subject to the conference refund policy
  • Coupon codes are subject to validity and usage limits

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the ANC platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of ANC or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or plagiarized content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts
  • Use the platform to transmit harmful or malicious code
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

8. Limitation of Liability

The ANC platform is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties regarding the availability, accuracy, or reliability of the platform. ANC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Modifications

ANC reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
